DEPARTMENTS
There Are Six Departments
1-Medical - Surgical Nursing:
It includes four main specialties: 
1.1 Basic sciences in Nursing.
1.2 Medical Nursing and its specialties.
1.3 Surgical Nursing and its specialties.
1.4 Critical Care Nursing.
This department is responsible for teaching and supervising the following subjects:
Medical - Surgical Nursing, Anatomy, Physiology, Nutrition and Biochemistry, Microbiology
(Bacteriology and Parasitology), internal medicine, general surgery, pathology,
pharmacology, diagnostic sciences (X - ray; clinical pathology, surgical specialties
(heart and cardiothoracic , orthopedics; ophthalmology; E.N.T), Applied pharmacology,
applied nutrition and Forensic medicine.
2- Pediatric Nursing:
It includes three main Specialties:
2.1 Pediatric Medical Nursing and its specialties.
2.2 Pediatric Surgical Nursing and its specialties.
2.3 High - risk neonatal Nursing.
This department is responsible for teaching and supervising the following subjects:
Pediatric Nursing, Pediatric medicine and Pediatric surgery, and Developmental psychology.
It includes three main specialties:
3.1 Women's Health Nursing.
3.2 Maternal - Fetal Health Nursing.
3.3 Neonatal Nursing.
This department is responsible for teaching and supervising maternal & newborn
health nursing and obstetric & gynecology.
4. Community Health Nursing:
It includes three main Specialties:
4.1 Occupational Health Nursing.
4.2 School Health Nursing.
4.3 Family Health Nursing.
This department is responsible for teaching and supervising the following subjects:
Community Health Nursing, Epidemiology, public health administration.
It includes two main Specialties:
5.1 Nursing of addicts.
5.2 Counseling.
This department is responsible for teaching and supervising the following subjects:
mental - Health Nursing, Psychiatric medicine, and Human relations.
6-Nursing Administration:
It includes two main Specialties:
6.1 Nursing Administration.
6.2 Nursing education Administration.
This Department is responsible for teaching and supervising Nursing Service administration
and Inservice Training.
